Cat crazy at Caboodle Ranch
Caboodle Ranch is every cat lover’s dream! The 30-acre sanctuary in Ponte Vedra Beach in Florida is home to more than 650 homeless and abandoned cats, who have everything they could possibly want – food, water, medicine, and one man, called Craig Grant, who loves them very much.
Craig started the sanctuary in 2003 when his home became too small for the six cats he wanted to take care of. He spent $100,000 buying the property and used his carpentry skills to build a cat city, with tree forts, cabins, nature trails, and underground dens. He even put up a fence to keep the cats safe from predators.
Now Craig relies mostly on donations to take care of his ever-growing number of abandoned cats. You can donate to the sanctuary or even spend a day there helping to take care of the animals. Visit the Caboodle Ranch website for more information.
