Talk about getting a job

Have your pupils listen to the podcast "You & your CV". Then discuss the following questions.
- What does Carrie say is the number one rule when applying for a job or internship?
- What are some ways to make sure there are no mistakes in your application?
- Have your pupils applied for jobs or internships in the past? What were their experiences?
- Ask your pupils to imagine they want to hire a new employee for their own company. What characteristics or qualifications would the ideal candidate have?
- Think about the perfect letter of reference from a teacher or boss. What would it say? Why would it be likely to help you get a job?
