Amityville horror house for sale

Would you live in a house that many believe is haunted? A house in the village of Amityville on Long Island in the US state of New York has been the subject of many scary books and films, including the 2005 film The Amityville Horror. And now it’s on sale for $1,150,000.

The house became famous in 1974 when a man called Ronald DeFeos killed six members of his family there while they were sleeping. The people who lived in the house after this happened, George and Kathleen Lutz, said it was haunted. They wrote a book about their experiences called The Amityville Horror: A True Story. However, many people don’t believe the Lutz couple and the man who lived in the house until recently, James Cromarty, says, “Nothing weird ever happened except for people coming by because of the book and the movie.”
