A Russian teenager has answered a message in a bottle that a German boy dropped into the ocean nearly 25 years ago.
Daniil Korotkikh, 13, was walking along a 100-kilometre beach between Russia and Lithuania called the Curonian Spit when he saw the bottle. “It looked like a German beer bottle with a ceramic plug, and there was a message inside,” he said.
His father translated the message, which was written in German and included an address in the German town of Coesfeld. The message said, “If you find this letter, please write back to me, and I will write back to you.”
Daniil wrote to the address and got a response from 29-year-old Frank Uesbeck, who had dropped the bottle from a ship into the Baltic 24 years earlier. The two guys have chatted online and hope to meet in person one day.

It took really long and it's strange that the bottle didn't break and it really reached a country...! Cool! I'll try that too. :)
This story is really cool.
My cousin have found a message in a bottle on the river Elbe, too.
It was from the Czech Republic.
