Everyone loves Lena
It was Germany's first win at the Eurovision song contest in almost 30 years. And while Lena is being celebrated around the country, the rest of Europe is impressed by the 19-year-old German star: she didn't just win Eurovision, she's made this old song contest modern and cool.
She didn't need an outrageous costume or a ridiculous show. Lena's secret was a cool pop song, her natural smile and her charming Kate Nash-style London accent. People may have laughed at her accent before the contest, but they're not laughing now.
And Lena has the chance to become a real international star: she got votes from all around Europe. Commentators for the British newspaper The Guardian described Lena as "… the most endearing person on the planet … bobbing along like a pocket-sized Björk". And the BBC says that Lena "has dragged Eurovision into the 21st century".

Yeah, Lena rocks the stage!!
Right, Lena rocks the hole world (Europe (: )!!!
And I do so, too! However, she's been criticized for her pronunciation, e.g. it has been said on the radio she'd spell the word "love" with the "o" sounding like a German o. However, I hold the view that her English is okay. What do you think about her pronunciation?
Moreover, it seems that many people don't like her articulation- I think that's what so special about her and maybe it's what makes her that sympathic and loveable!
