Singer Kanye West chose only one person to follow on Twitter. However, the person he chose, a British teenager called Steven Holmes, says he’s tired of being famous.
Steven, 19, from Coventry in England has got more than 3,000 followers on Twitter since Kanye decided to follow him. He says he was happy at first when Kanye wrote to him and said, “You are the chosen one.” But he's tired of all the attention now.
Last week, Steven wrote on his Twitter page, “This has been completely surreal. I really don’t want this attention. I’m just a normal person. Surprisingly not everyone wants to be famous. That’s all I’m saying.”
He told his local newspaper the Coventry Telegraph he doesn’t know why Kanye chose him. “The funny thing is I like his music but I’m not his biggest fan," he said.
