Teen’s last wishes come true

A dying teenager's wish list has become a viral hit - and now her wishes are coming true.

Alice Pyne, from Cumbria in England, has cancer and may have only weeks to live. Last month she put a list on her blog of all the things she wants to do before she dies. The list includes eating as much chocolate as she can, swimming with sharks and meeting pop band Take That. People who’ve seen her list online are helping to make her dreams come true.

Two weeks ago, Alice wrote on her blog, “Now for my mega exciting news. I'm off to see Take That this weekend. Can you believe it? I am so excited and really can't wait. It also looks like the other things I wished to do are being organized so thank you to everyone for that. I feel like a very lucky girl. Mum always tells me that life is what we make it and so I’m going to make the best of what I have.”

Alice is using her popularity to encourage people to become bone marrow donors, which could save the lives of other teens.
