Girl in trouble for trying to look like Rihanna

A teenage girl got in trouble at school for dying her hair red to try to look like Rihanna.

When Millie Forney, 15, went to her school, All Saints High School in the English town of Kirkby, with her hair dyed bright red, her teacher told her to go home and wash the dye out.  

“It doesn’t affect my learning so I don’t see the problem," Millie later told reporters. "I just wanted my hair to look like Rihanna’s hair. I didn’t want to dye it back and it will take a year to grow out. Telling me I’ve got to get rid of it is stupid.”

Millie refused to wash the dye out of her hair so her headteacher called her parents, who went to the school to talk it over. Eventually they all agreed to allow Millie to keep her bright red hair – for now.
