Botox for teens
You might think you’re too young to worry about wrinkles. But thousands of teens in the US and the UK are using Botox to stop wrinkles on their faces. And many of them are only 15 or 16 years old.
Botox is a drug that doctors’ inject into the wrinkles on people’s faces to make the wrinkles go away. British teenager Hannah Bruge told the British newspaper The Sun that she started getting Botox when she was 15. “I wanted to have Botox for two reasons - it stops wrinkles and everyone at my school was talking about having 'B'. I had a couple of lines on my forehead and around my mouth, which I was unhappy about. Some of my friends told me that the earlier you start to have B, the fewer wrinkles you'll have as an adult.”
However, doctors told The Sun that no teenager needs Botox and that using Botox too many times can damage your face.
