Do you know someone who applied to get the "best job in the world", taking care of Australia's Great Barrier Reef? Tourism Queensland in Australia said at the beginning of this year that they could give someone the best job in the world. Around 35,000 applicants from over 200 countries wanted to live on Hamilton Island for six months, get paid AUD$150,000 and report via the Internet about the Great Barrier Reef. In April, 16 finalists from around the world went to Australia - but only one person could win. And that person was 34-year-old Ben Southall from the UK! The hardest part of the job will be living alone on the island - well, alone except the fish and animals of course!
