A Twitter treasure hunt
Anthony Gardiner, from New Zealand, had a problem: he had a beautiful diamond engagement ring worth more than €2,000 – but nobody to give it to. The woman Anthony was in love with didn't want to marry him. In this situation, some people might feel depressed. But not Anthony – he decided to organize a treasure hunt.
"Obviously, it's an unlucky ring for me," he explained. But someone else could have better luck with it. So the 29-year-old hid the ring somewhere in New Zealand's capital city, Wellington. Then he started posting clues on Twitter to help people find it. And hundreds of people read Anthony's Twitter updates and searched for the "hidden treasure".
Finally, after seven hours and 14 clues, a 21-year-old student named Ryan Roselli was successful. But even though he's now got the ring, Ryan has a problem too – he's single! Ryan says he will either sell the ring or give it to his mum.
