Tyra Banks is really famous in the US. She was a supermodel when she was younger and now has three TV shows that millions of teen girls watch. She has just started a contest on her talk show, The Tyra Show, to find a plus-sized teenage model and help her start her career.
Tyra says she wants teen girls to see that big girls are beautiful too. "Adolescence is such an important time in a young woman's life and I hope this contest helps teen girls discover their own beauty from the inside out,” she says.
