U2 and Jay-Z help Haiti
29.01.2010
Even big stars have hearts! U2 and Jay-Z have joined together to record a charity song to help the victims of the huge earthquake that tore apart the Caribbean country of Haiti. U2 guitarist The Edge told an Irish radio station, "Last night, we wrote a song. Bono and Jay-Z wanted to do something for Haiti. Now it's finished and recorded. So that might be the next thing you hear from us!" And they're not the only ones! Scottish rock band Mogwai is auctioning a piano, and George Clooney hosted a massive telethon on Saturday, 23 January. Live acts appearing on the telethon included Coldplay, Alicia Keys and Shakira.
