Take That tour breaks records
Take That smashed records with this summer’s UK tour. The British boyband made £38 million from their eight concerts at Wembley Stadium, making it the highest-grossing series of concerts of all time, and played to 623,737 there, which is the highest attendance figure ever.
Robbie Williams rejoined Take That last year to tour with them for the first time in 15 years. He had food poisoning in July, forcing the band to cancel their concert in Copenhagen. And although he returned to the stage last week in Amsterdam, he says he still feels a bit sick.
"Still not out of the woods," Robbie wrote on his website. "Would like to give you more details but my typing fingers aren't working that well."
