Stars sell their clothes for charity
13.12.2009
How much money could you get for your old clothes? Probably not much! But Hollywood actors Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman got $7,000 for the vests they wore in a New York play. And they gave the money to a charity which helps people with AIDS and other serious illnesses. Daniel and Hugh play Chicago policemen in the play A Steady Rain, which has been on in New York’s Broadway since September. They sold the vests to two women at the end of one night’s performance for $3,500 each.
