Sick film
A film about a real life cannibal is making people sick. The film called Van Diemen’s Lane is about a convict from the Australian island of Tasmania called Alexander Pearce. Alexander escaped from a prison on Tasmania with seven other convicts in 1822. He then killed and ate the other convicts. Some people have felt sick and even fainted while watching the film. The film’s director Jonathan Auf Der Heide told reporters, "The vomiting thing was a real surprise to me. We had two people vomit in New Zealand and a few people have fainted during the first killing scene. But it's nowhere near as intense as a lot of the films out there today." The film hasn’t come to cinemas but people have watched it at film festivals in Australia, Canada and Europe.![endif]-->!--[if>![endif]-->!--[if>
