Robbie Williams to tour with Take That
Singer Robbie Williams is going on tour with Take That for the first time in 16 years. The five guys in the band – Robbie, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen – will play concerts in the UK, Ireland and other parts of Europe next summer.
Robbie told reporters that the concerts will include both band and solo performances. "There's going to be a bit for everybody. I'm going to be doing a bit, the lads are going to be doing a bit and then we're all going to be doing a bit together." Gary said, "Some fans might be coming just to see Robbie. Some fans might be coming to see the four of us. Some fans will be coming to see the five of us.”
Robbie left Take That in 1995 to have a solo career but returned to the band last summer. The five guys have made a new album together called Progress, which will be in shops on 15 November. Watch the video for the first single from Progress, “The Flood”:
