No Toby Maguire in new Spider-Man film

Filmmakers are working on a fourth Spider-Man film without the star of the franchise, Toby Maguire. Toby starred in the first three Spider-Man films, which were very successful and made more than $2.5 billion. But now filmmakers at Sony Pictures Entertainment are making a fourth Spider-Man film with new actors and a new director.
Toby says he is happy with this decision. He says, "I am so proud of what we accomplished with the Spider-Man franchise over the last decade. I am excited to see the next chapter in this incredible story." The fourth film will be about Spider-Man’s alter ego Peter Parker as a high-school student and will be in cinemas in summer 2012.
