No drugs for Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe could sue a British newspaper for saying he smoked drugs. Earlier this month the Daily Mirror newspaper published photos of Daniel smoking at a party with quotes from the girl who took the photos, Wadia Tazi. Wadia told the newspaper that Daniel had been smoking marijuana at the time. She said, "Daniel looked spaced out … I was surprised by his behaviour. He is a kids' favourite. I'm not sure what his fans will think of this."

However, a spokesperson for Daniel says the story is not true. "Daniel does smoke the occasional roll-up cigarette but he was not doing anything more than this." He added that he and Daniel would "be taking all necessary action," which could mean they plan to sue the newspaper. Daniel is now working on the seventh and last Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which will come to cinemas in two parts in 2010 and 2011.
