Actress Lindsay Lohan is wearing something strange on her ankle. It isn’t a new fashion accessory. It’s a bracelet that monitors how much alcohol she drinks.
A US judge told Lindsay that she has to stop drinking alcohol, wear the bracelet and have drug tests every week after she missed a court hearing on charges of drunk driving. Lindsay, who was at the Cannes Film Festival in France at the time, says she couldn’t return to the US to go to court because someone had stolen her passport.
The 23-year-old star had planned to work on a film in the US state of Texas this month. But the judge says she has to take the drug tests in California. “I’m afraid she’s going to have to delay that for now,” the judge said.
