Lindsay Lohan could go to jail for drinking alcohol

Lindsay Lohan is in trouble again. When the actress missed a court hearing for drunk driving last month, the judge told her to stop drinking alcohol and wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet on her ankle.

The bracelet tests for alcohol every half an hour. It showed that Lindsay drank alcohol at the weekend. Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, told reporters the bracelet showed she had drank “a small amount of alcohol” on Sunday night. However, Lindsay wrote on her Twitter page that this was “physically impossible”.

The 23-year-old has been on probation since August 2007. The court has doubled her bail to $200,000 because she drank alcohol. Lindsay has to go to court again on 6 July and could go to jail.
