Lil Wayne to publish jail diaries
20.01.2012
Lil Wayne is publishing a book called Gone Till November that includes diaries he wrote while in jail. The rapper spent eight months in Rikers Island jail in New York in 2010 for gun possession.
“He kept detailed journals of his inner and outer life while he was on Rikers Island, and they certainly tell a story,” says Ben Greenberg of Grand Central Publishing, the company that is publishing the book. “They are revealing.”
The book also includes the rapper’s thoughts on family, children, and the people he’s met in his life, and will be in shops late next autumn.
