Lady Gaga wins three Brit Awards
Lady Gaga won three awards at this year’s Brit Awards in London. She won the award for international breakthrough act, international female solo artist and international album for The Fame. Lady Gaga cried when she heard she’d won the third award. Wearing an unusual white dress and wig, she told the audience, "I was really excited to win the first two awards. This award means even more to me because I worked so hard on this album for so long.”
Other big winners at the 30th Brit Awards on 16 February include the British boyband JLS, who won two awards and Lilly Allen, who won the British female solo artist award. British singer Robbie Williams got a special award for his contribution to music. He ended the night by singing a medley of his biggest hits that included songs like “Let me Entertain You”, “No Regrets” and “Angels”.
