She is one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood and makes more than $30 million a year. But now Keira Knightley is taking a break from her film career to act in a play at London’s famous West End. The 24-year-old will play an American film star in a modern version of the 17th century play The Misanthrope. Keira grew up in the world of theatre. Her mother is a successful playwright and her father is a television and theatre actor. But this will be her first time acting in a big theatre show. She told the British newspaper the Daily Mail, "It's in my blood." Keira is already taking voice and singing lessons and will start rehearsals for The Misanthrope this month. The play will be at London's Comedy Theatre from 17 December to 13 March.
