US actor John Travolta has won one of Germany’s top entertainment awards. The star will collect the Golden Camera award for best international actor at a ceremony in Berlin on 5 February.
John told reporters, "Receiving the Golden Camera award is a huge honour for me. I take great pride in my work and it's wonderful to have it recognized in such a way. It's going to be great to accept this award in person next month.”
The Golden Camera awards started in 1978 and reward great work in film, television and music. Past winners of the international actor award include Bruce Willis, Nicolas Cage and Richard Gere, who won it last year.
