Jay-Z has released a song called “Glory” about his first child with his wife, Beyoncé. The couple welcomed baby girl Blue Ivy Carter into the world in New York City on 7 January.
The song says that the baby was conceived in Paris and ends with the sound of a baby’s cries. It also reveals that Beyoncé had a miscarriage in the past, in the lines, “Last time the miscarriage was so tragic. We was afraid you'd disappear. But nah baby you magic.”
The couple, who married in 2008, also released a statement, saying their daughter was the most beautiful girl in the world. "Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful. We are in heaven. It was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support."
