Friends coming to the cinema?
The stars of the popular TV series Friends are getting ready to work together for the first time in over five years. The six actors became famous in the 1990s when millions watched them in the comedy series about life in New York City. The series ended in May 2004. But now filmmakers are planning to make the first ever film based on the TV show, which will probably be in cinemas in 2011. James Michael Tyler, who played Central Perk coffee shop worker Gunther, told reporters, "Friends: The Movie is definitely on. I still keep in touch with a lot of the cast and they say that they are really keen." All of the series’ stars are in their forties now and have worked on other TV shows and movies. Matt LeBlanc even had his own spin-off series for two years about his Friends character, Joey.![endif]-->!--[if>![endif]-->!--[if>
