Daniel Radcliffe helps gay people
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has made a short film to stop gay people killing themselves. Daniel made the film for a US organization that has a 24-hour helpline for young gay, bisexual and transgender people called The Trevor Project. The film will be on US TV later this year.
Daniel, 20, told reporters he knew a lot of gay men when he was younger. "Then I went to school and for the first time I came across homophobia,” he said. “I had never seen it before. It shocked me. I have always hated anybody who is not tolerant of gay men or lesbians or bisexuals. Now I am in the very fortunate position where I can help or do something about it."
You can see Daniel in the seventh Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, in cinemas this November.
