Beyoncé Knowles gets ten Grammy nominations

Beyoncé Knowles is set to become the next big Grammy winner. The R&B singer has been nominated for more Grammy awards than any other singer. She has been nominated for ten awards, including Song of the Year for her song “Single Ladies”, Record of the Year for “Halo” and Album of the Year for I Am… Sasha Fierce.
But Beyoncé isn’t the only artist who could win more than once at the 52nd Grammy Awards, which will happen in Los Angeles on 31 January. Teenage country singer Taylor Swift has been nominated for eight awards. And hip-hop band the Black Eyed Peas, R&B singer Maxwell and rapper Kanye West have been nominated for six awards each.
