Singer Adele has had to cancel her US tour because she's having problems with her voice. The 23-year-old was to do ten concerts in the US, starting this weekend. But her doctor told her to cancel because of a haemorrhage on her vocal cord.
“I'm heartbroken to tell you that yet again I'm experiencing problems with my voice,” said the singer, who had to cancel a series of concerts in the UK last month because she had laryngitis. “I can't believe it. The fact is I have never been able to fully recover from any of the problems that I've had… because of my touring commitments.”
Adele plans to fully recover this time before returning to the stage. “My voice is weak and I need to build it back up. I'm going to be starting up vocal rehab and start building stamina in my voice, body and mind. I will be back and I'm going to smash the ball out the park once I'm touring again.”
