A teenager is going to represent the UK at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Josh Dubovie, 19, won a competition on TV that allowed people in the UK to vote for the singer they wanted to represent their country. He will sing a song called “That Sounds Good to Me” at the contest in Norway this May.
Josh comes from Essex in England and has a career performing at charity events, sports events and festivals. He says he was shocked when he heard he’d won the competition. “I’m so happy. I really can’t believe it. Is this real?” Last year a 22-year-old singer called Jade Ewen represented the UK in the competition and finished in fifth place. Jade is now in the band the Sugababes.
