In this film version of Maurice Sendak’s much-loved children’s book, Max is a young boy who has a big argument with his mother and runs away from home wearing a wolf costume. In his imagination, Max travels to the land of the wild things – strange animals with feathers, claws and horns that help Max to understand the problems in his life.
