What would Christmas be without music? Can you imagine December without "Last Christmas"? It was 26 years ago when George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley from the British pop duo Wham! released their Christmas single.

The song is now the most successful Christmas single of all time in Germany. It has been in the German charts every year since 1997 and in the UK charts every year since 2007.

Many singers have done cover versions of the song “Last Christmas" since it was first released in 1984.

People use the phrase once bitten, twice shy to talk about something bad that happens to make them more careful. This song is about someone who is trying not to fall in love with someone who broke their heart once before. But it's hard because they still love them.
