Take That are making progress
Take That are back! The five boys in the band, Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange, started playing together in Manchester in 1990. They split up after Robbie left to have a solo career. But now they are all playing together again - for the first time in 15 years.
They have made a new album together called Progress, which will be in shops on 15 November, and are going on tour in Europe next summer.
“The Flood” is the first single from Progress
Back then, we were like cavemen
We’d beam at the moon and the stars…
Bleeding but none of us leaving…
There’s progress now where there once was none
Take That have come a long way since they started playing together 20 years ago. They compare the passage of time to a flood, which has washed away all their old beliefs and taught them what’s really important in life. Things haven’t always been easy but they’ve made it and they’re learning more than ever now.
