OneRepublic have a good life

US rock band OneRepublic are living the good life! Band members Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins were just teenagers when they started making music together. Now they’re back in the Top Ten for the first time in three years with their new single, "Good Life".

Ryan said he came up with the best part of the song on a whim. "I hadn't heard a whistle in a song in forever and that's all I kept hearing on the song so I just whistled this melody into the mic and it really is the hook. It's the catchiest part of the song."

OneRepublic use the phrase "on fire" to mean in a state of excitement. The city is full of life - and so are they. They are young and free and living in the moment. They want you to forget all your worries and let yourself go. It’s good to be alive!
