Little Boots has found a "Remedy"
Electro pop is the coolest music trend this year! First came Lady GaGa, then La Roux. Now there's a new contender for the electro-pop crown and she's called Little Boots. Victoria Hesketh is 25 years old and comes from Lancashire in the north of England. Her stage name comes from the Roman emperor Caligula, whose name means "little boots" in Latin. Little Boots's debut album, Hands, was released in 2008 and went to Number Five in the UK charts.
"Remedy" from the album Hands
I can see you stalking like a predator ...
But I will not be caught ...
No more poison
Killing my emotion ...
Dancing is my remedy
Little Boots wrote this song with star producer RedOne in Los Angeles. According to Little Boots, the song is about "dancing and music being a remedy to some kind of poison in your life." In the song, someone, maybe an ex-lover, is watching her in a club. She knows he will only make her feel bad and so she turns to the music and dances her troubles away.
