London to Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia. Just before the start of
their adventure holiday through the Gobi Desert, Anton's father
disappears from his hotel room in the middle of the night ...
Anton stopped in the darkness in the doorway and took the scene in. His father was gone. The bed was empty, sheets thrown to the floor. But his dad's suitcase was there, as it had been.
