Who won a KEEN bag?
In the June issue of Spot on, you read a lot about the environment and how to protect it. One thing you can do is make the right choices when you go shopping - by choosing products from companies that care.
One such company is KEEN, from the US state of Oregon. Some of their shoes, bags and socks are made from recycled materials. And would you believe that a lot of their socks have small bits from recycled PET bottles in them?
To help you be green and cool, Spot on and KEEN gave you the chance to win one of three sling bags, worth about 70 euros each. The zips and buckles, the lining and the re-enforced bottom are all made from recycled materials.
To win, you had to tell us that the German word for "sustainable" is nachhaltig. Congratulations to the three lucky winners: Sophie Scharner, A-3400 Klosterneuburg; Werner Heilig, 76199 Karlsruhe; Anja Baumberger, CH-4552 Derendingen.
