Wizards and vampires, oh my!
My inner fan-girl gets no peace. It seemed like I had finally gotten the Twilight stories out of my system. Before the first film came out earlier this year, I raced through all the books, then had to resist the urge to start reading them again. Instead I found the unfinished version of Midnight Sun on Twilight author Stephenie Meyer's site and read that. For those of you who don't know, Midnight Sun tells the same story of the events in Twilight - how Edward and Bella meet and fall in love - but from Edward's perspective. If you've ever thought you might be in love with a fictitious vampire, Midnight Sun will make you swoon too.
And now, just when my inner fan-girl was finally calming down, here comes the trailer for the second movie in the Twilight series: New Moon. Now there's not just a vampire to swoon over, but a hunky werewolf, too. And it's not going to open in Germany until next January. So long to wait!
Luckily while I wait, I can go see the next Harry Potter film. We've been waiting for that forever too, it seems. This is a scene from the Half-Blood Prince that they showed at the MTV Movie Awards a few weeks ago. The wizards don't have the same "swoon" effect for me that the Twilight vampires do, but the battle of good vs. evil is much more exciting and moving in Harry Potter. And while all that's going on, apparently there's going to be a new Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. Can anything ever really beat Joss Whedon's TV series, that ended in 2003? I doubt it, but my inner fan-girl keeps hoping.

I love both films and the books too.
I very happy about the new film of Harry Potter. The last was sooooo good.
Thanks a lot. I did not even know, that there's already a trailer for the film New MOON.
Well, I hope it will be as good as Twilight, but I don't really like the trailer. It's just not the same as the book.
