Three things I can't live without
I love going on holidays. But I hate trying to pack everything I need into one bag. I’m going to London in a few weeks and I’m already trying to decide what to take with me. Like most people, I have a lot more things than I really need. But there are at least three things that I can’t live without.
1. My mobile phone
It’s hard to believe that mobile phones became popular only about ten years ago. I would feel totally lost without mine and I really mean that. My phone comes with a program that helps me navigate through the city and find all the nearest shops and restaurants. But most importantly, it lets me to stay in touch with my friends all over the world by text and e-mail. And I have a great plan that allows me to talk for 3,000 minutes a month. That might sound like a lot – but believe me, I need every minute of it!
2. Lipgloss
Like most girls, I am totally addicted to lipgloss. I love the way it comes in all different colours and flavours and makes my lips feel soft. I have read that the more you use lipgloss, the drier your lips become – so you feel like you need it more and more. That’s good to know but it’s too late for me. I use lipgloss about 20 times a day and start to panic if I can’t find it. And even though I have lots of tubes everywhere – at home, in my car, and in my handbag – I can never stop myself buying more!
3. Smart Water
I always have a bottle of water with me, but not any water. It has to be Smart Water and nothing else. Smart Water is a brand of water in the US that has electrolytes, which people say give your body a bit more energy. I liked Smart Water even before it became trendy and stars like 50 Cent started drinking it. Unfortunately, you can’t buy Smart Water in London. I suppose I'll just have to do without it for a while. I’m not sure it really does much for my body anyway. It’s probably just all in my head! ;-)
