Happy Halloween 2011!
31.10.2011
It’s my favourite time of the year again – Halloween! My friends and I had a lot of fun this weekend celebrating this famous holiday.
On Friday night, we went to see the new horror film Paranormal Activity 3. This is the third film in a series, about two sisters who are haunted by a demon. I watched most of the film from between my fingers because I was too scared to look. The scariest part of these films isn’t what you see but what you imagine. And I have a wild imagination!
The next day my friends and I went on a tour of my neighbourhood. I live in South Pasadena, which is where filmmakers made the famous 1978 film Halloween and where people decorate their homes with giant cobwebs, skeletons and carved pumpkins. We found one house that had gravestones in the garden, a giant demon and a zombie crawling out of the ground. It was insane!
On Saturday night we all put on costumes and went to a costume party, where we ate Halloween treats like candy apples and sweets that looked like eyeballs. Some of my friends dressed up as scary monsters but I dressed up as Hello Kitty. I can’t wear a scary costume because I would scare myself too much. Ha-ha! I love Halloween but I’m a total wimp ;-)!
