Find us – and like us – on Facebook
Spot on is now on Facebook! And as a result of that, I've got Sally Field stuck in my head. It's a strange sort of ear worm.
"You like me, you really, really like me!"
In 1985, American actress Sally Field joyfully shouted those words after winning her second Academy Award for Best Actress. Or did she? Most people think she said "You really, really like me!" But what she actually said was "You like me – right now, you like me."
In any case, whether you really like us right now, or you "really, really" like us – I hope you'll like us on Facebook.
Does that sound strange? Until a couple of days ago, if you wanted to follow us – or anyone else that's not an actual friend – on Facebook, you were called a fan. To become a fan, you clicked on a button or link that said "Become a fan". But now, instead of becoming a fan, you have to "like" us. This isn't an Oscar acceptance speech, but I hope you know how much we'd really love it if you would "like" Spot on on Facebook.
If you "like" us, you'll always be up-to-date with what's new on the website; we plan on making some videos for you, showing you what life is like behind the scenes at Spot on (it's better than reality TV!); and you'll have another great way to communicate with us. Leave a comment, write on our wall, join a discussion, write a silly caption for our pictures – as always, we'd love to hear from you.
If you like, after you "like" us you can then go and join a group asking Facebook to "Change 'Like' back to 'Become a Fan'". I'm a fan of that!
